The Children’s Ministry has adopted the following policies as a step toward ministering to the children both physically and spiritually.
1. Please do not bring your child if he or she exhibits any of the following symptoms: - Cloudy or thick runny nose - Any fever during the past 24 hours - Any discharge from the eyes or ears - Rash associated with viral or bacterial infection - Sneezing or coughing - Cold or sore throat - Contagious illness (i.e. chicken pox) - Any vomiting in the past 24 hours - Any diarrhea in the past 24 hours
2. For your child’s safety, we ask that only adult family members drop off and pick up children unless previous arrangements have been made with the Children's Ministry and/or Nursery Coordinators.
3. If your child is nursery age, please bring a sufficient supply of bottles, diapers, and extra clothing. For those being potty trained, an extra set or two of clothing is necessary. Please clearly label all items brought to the nursery. If your items are un-marked the nursery will provide you with tape and a marker. |
When parents of nursery age children check their child in, they are to sign in the child’s name, parent’s name, location during the hour, and any special instructions. The parents will receive a numbered pager so that the parent can be reached during the service if needed. If the parents choose not to take a pager, they will be provided with a "pick-up number" that will be used at the end of the service.
The pager or pickup number will be used as a means to identify the parent of the child. No one other than the person who has the numbered pager/pickup number that corresponds to the child’s assigned number will be permitted to pick up the child. Under no circumstances will a child be returned to anyone without the corresponding pager. This includes parents, other relatives, baby-sitters, friends or neighbors. The policy is for your child’s protection. |
